Presenters: Natsupa and Tuptim (Thailand)
Topic: Holidays and travel
In this show, adult English language students in an upper-intermediate level general English course in the UK talk about holidays and travel.
Natsupa and Tuptim, from Thailand, are this week's presenters. They chose the topic and with the help of their classmates, planned the show content, with each person volunteering a sub-topic to talk about. Natsupa and Tuptim introduced and closed the show, interviewed their classmates, and selected the jingle used to link the sections of the show.
Shayma, from the United Arab Emirates, talks about the country she most wanted to visit in the future.
Julio, from Spain, talks about a very scary incident that happened during one of his holidays.
Aziz, from Saudi Arabia, talks about the best place he has ever visited on holiday.
Suliman, from Saudi Arabia, talks about what holidays mean for him, and his worst ever holiday experience.
As usual, the show was recorded in class, on second teacher, Geoff's, Apple PowerBook computer with the program Garageband 3. After editing in Garageband, the audio volume was leveled using the program Levelator (www.gigavox.com/levelator), and converted to MP3 using LameBrain (check at www.macupdate.com).
This show is produced at the Bardwell Road Adult Centre, St Clare's, Oxford, UK
