In this show, adult students in our low intermediate GO5 class talk about traditional festivals in their countries. The topic links to class studies about the festivals of Halloween (October 31) and Fireworks Night (November 5) in the UK.

Classmate and guest presenter, Maggie, negotiated the topic, prepared the interview questions, introduced and ended the show, conducted the interviews, and chose the jingle.

The show was recorded in class, with all the students present, plus the class teacher, Julie Dyson, and the group teacher, Geoff Taylor, who did the post-production work in GarageBand 3, on his Apple PowerBook laptop computer.

This is the first of a two-part show on traditional festivals - the class is now too large to easily fit into a single show.
