Episode 21, September 15, 2006
Hello again from St Clare's, Oxford, England, after our long summer break! This term, we hope once again to provide a regular weekly show of student recordings.
In this show, adult students in pre-intermediate GO5 class talk about their impressions of Britain. For most of them, this is only their second week in England, so these really are just first impressions...
The show was recorded in class, with all the students present, along with their teacher, Julie Dyson. Julie had prepared the interview questions. As in previous shows, the students were allowed to choose half a dozen or so questions from all the questions on offer. The students took turns to interview each other, the order of speaking set by a draw of playing cards, and their other teacher, Geoff Taylor, took the class photo and did the post-production work in GarageBand 3, on his Apple PowerBook laptop computer.
