MAGAZINE-STYLE SHOW
We try a different show format this week: instead of all the speakers talking about a single subject or theme, different students talk about different things.

MENU
In this show, we hear from four students in general English class GO3, intermediate level:

Cosi (Switzerland) talks about the last book she's read:
Three Men in a Boat (To say nothing of the dog) by Jerome K Jerome, 1889
- You can read it online, for free, with pictures, here: Read online: http://www.forgottenfutures.com/game/boat/boat.htm
- Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Men_in_a_Boat) gives this summary: "Three Men in a Boat... is a humorous account by Jerome K. Jerome of a boating holiday on the Thames between Kingston and Oxford. The book was intended initially to be a serious travel guide, with accounts of local history of places along the route, but the humorous elements eventually took over, to the point where the serious and somewhat sentimental passages now seem like an unnecessary distraction to the essentially comic novel."

Yong (S. Korea) talks about a Thai restaurant he's been to in Oxford, the Bangkok House. Check out this link:

HOW THIS SHOW WAS MADE
Unlike previous shows, the audio was all recorded on an iPod with the Griffin iTalk microphone attachment. The intention was to have a quick, portable recording device, which it was. Apologies for the sound quality!

APOLOGIES/THANKS TO WOUN
Woun's first 8-minute interview didn't record properly, but he kindly agreed to repeat the interview. Thanks, Woun!
