Guest presenter: Bo Yang Zhu, from China
Topic: learning English (as an adult speaker of another language)

Bo Yang hosts a show that should be of interest to our local audience, in St Clare's, Oxford, and people in similar learning situations in other parts of the world, consisting of interviews with his classmates (pre-intermediate general English class).

Bo Yang chose the subject of the show, prepared the questions used, managed the interviews, and chose the music from the free selection in Apple's Garageband 3 (part of iLife '06). The class teacher, Geoff, ran the technical side of things, recording, editing, uploading, and writing these show notes. (Apologies again for a technical hitch, an unexpected humming sound, during recording).

We hear from Martha (Venezuela), Azo (Saudi Arabia), Yuliya (Russia), Suliman (a.k.a. wAzzy, from Saudi Arabia), Zaur (Azerbeijan), and Juliane (a new student from Brazil).

Here are the questions Bo Yang's classmates chose to answer (from a selection of questions written by Bo Yang). How would you answer them?
- Can you tell me some experience about you study English?
- Grammar, speaking, vocabulary and listening. Which part do you think is easy for you? Why?
- How long do you study English every day?
- How do you feel about your English ability?
- Do you think learning English is important?
- Do you want to take some exam in the future? Which exam do you want to take?
- Do you have some idea about how to learn your country's language?
